Conran & Partners are one of the UK’s most famous and revered architectural firms, boasting many impressive buildings and institutions both in the UK and internationally, including Hong Kong, Japan, Canada, France, USA and many more. Founded by the designer Conran in 1980, the Conran group is also responsible for the internationally acclaimed Conran Shop.
Conran & Partners needed a new flagship website for their architectural firm where they could advertise their services, present their team and showcase their many successful case studies to an audience of extremely discerning developers and designers around the globe.
They required an advanced level of functionality to show off the wide range of both interior design and architectural projects to create a gallery and portfolio of relevant projects in a wide range of industries. Due to the ongoing nature of their work and impressive rate of new projects, they also required the ability to upload new projects, complete with galleries of images whenever necessary.
Design of new website
The initial phase of the project saw NexusBond work closely with Conran & Partners’ design team to assess and evaluate the initial ideas for the website design. After the desktop design was finalized, the mobile and tablet versions were then created, resulting in a fully immersive experience for clients across the full range of devices currently in use.
Development of functionality
NexusBond then developed the website on the WordPress platform, creating bespoke functionality that would allow Conran & Partners to add new projects to their portfolio by using a back-end system to upload descriptions and photo galleries that would populate pre designed case study templates. On the front end, a filtering and search functionality was developed to allow their clients to easily browse their projects.
Conran & Partners now has a fully functional website that allows users to browse the impressive range of projects in both interior design and architecture. Fully width video backgrounds on many pages help to create an immersive and impressive experience. Conran & Partners enjoy new business via their website, with clients directly contacting them through the website.
